Hi Peter, Yes, you can install Windows on a Mac. However, I believe you need to have a Mac that has an Intel CPU to do this. Currently, I have the the Beta version of Windows 8 installed on my MacBook. I am doing this for testing purposes. It is installed via a Virtual software called Parallels. This concept of Virtual Disks is quite interesting... actually allowing you to install any operating system or program in its "own little area" of your hard drive, separate from the rest of your hard drive programs and data. People do this to run other operating systems on their current system or to run programs in a separate environment for security purposes. But, more to your question.... Why run Windows on a Mac.
