    1. Re: [COMPUTERS] IE problems

    3. Bea, Windows 7 comes with IE 8 and should be upgraded to IE9, and IE 7 cannot be installed on a Windows 7 machine. There is NO Contacts within Windows 7, so you must be using some email program, what is it? Where are you seeing this "Contacts" within Windows 7? I see reading the "properties" of your email you are using Yahoo.com as your email client. IE 8 and 9 does have toolbars and Favorites. Just Right click the "Title Bar" and there you will see Menu Bar, and many other tool bars that have been installed on your machine. Click the ones you want to appear within IE. I have a Sony Viao, with Windows 7.   1) It does not show any tool bars, nor can I find anyway to set one. I cannot bookmark sites, no find Favorites.   2) When I try to use Contacts, it often says it has run into a problem and will close. I get a few more messages that say  basicly the same things, but it doesn't close.   I only use IE when I actually have to, or for this e-mail account, so I haven't worked on this problem earlier. I have just set it to open with my e-mail account, but I find I do need it to work right at times.   Bea :-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~: Please refrain from posting commercial URLs and from discussing prices on the list.
