View source is not an editor. You need to open the file with a plain text editor or a HTML program. Then make changes and then it can be resaved. To view the file as a webpage, you would open it using a browser. How do I find that out? I did paste the plain text file to the flash drive if that tells you anything. I could get the "view source" of that file, and could make changes on it, but could not save it. Where the heck did "View Source" and the FTP aspect come into this. He has an HTML file, which doesn't have to be on a remote server, and I don't recall him saying anything about how he viewed the file... But maybe I am wrong ?!?!? Hi Joe, If I understand you correctly... If you were able to copy the TEXT file over to the Flash Drive then it is not a "Write Protect" issue. How are you trying to copy the HTML file? Is it the same way you copied the Text file ? You should be able to use Windows Explorer and just drag the file from your C: drive location to the Flash Drive. Regards, Kevin.
