Ok Kevin, I'll avoid that then. I'm not a gamer anyway but my pc isn't performing too well at present for some unknown reason and I'm just tired of waiting a minute or more for a web page to open and sometimes it doesn't open at all. I did a reboot some months ago for the same reason so I decided to fork out for one really fast. I've done the usual scans which revealed nothing. I know it's not the broadband connection because my nephew has his pc connected to the same netgear and his is fine so it was either another reboot or a new pc. What 'usual scans'?? Try www.superantispyware.com. It's free, and is the BEST anti-malware program I've used. >I know it's not the broadband connection because my nephew has his pc Maybe it's something HE is doing..
The usual scans are AntiVirus and Superantispyware and also CCleaner. Would something my nephew is doing on his pc effect mine when I am in the living room and he is in the kitchen? There is one thing I forgot to mention. I keep getting a popup telling me something about Firefox being low on memory. It hasn't popped up this morning but I had trouble just now logging back onto my webmail account to send this email.
