Hi Phil, Most modern browsers are memory hogs, these days. A lot of it has to do with the Page Tabs. The more you open, the more memory you use ! I have 2Gb of on-board memory and still have issues, so I use a Memory Manager called CleanMem, which sits in my Tray. I double click on many times during the day and it releases unused memory. Works very well. using Process Explorer, I can see the Firefox memory usage grow and, when I click on CleanMem, the memory usage drops significantly. I incorporated this on a work-mates computer as it only has 1Gb of on-board memory and it allowed her to work. Just a suggestion...
