    3. I just bought a new computer with win7 operation system. I had the files from my old crashed laptop loaded to it. While putting things back into my original order I had a few choices - Documents - Music - etc. Everything went in O'K in all directories except Documents (which holds most of my files). I now find I have a sub folder called My Documents under Documents, both of which hold all the original sub folders. Everything works well, but is a hassel to work with. I tried moving them into a newly names folder, and back into the one I wanted, but they all went into the same double lists. Any suggestion as to how to get them all in Documents and to have no My Documents. Bea

    3. I don't believe there are actually two different folders, I believe they just appear that way and can be addressed either way. Windows 7 can be diffiucult to comprehend at first. ____________ > :-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~:-~: > > > I now find I have a sub folder called My Documents under Documents, both of > which hold all the original sub folders. 3. Bea, When you are seeing the "Documents" folder, you are looking at the "My Documents" folder through the "Library". Have a look at things at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/dd861346.aspx Thanks, David C Abernathy Email disclaimers ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This message represents the official view of the voices in my head. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.SchmeckAbernathy.com == All outgoing and incoming mail is scanned by F-Prot Antivirus  == -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Bea Sent: Saturday, October 22, 2011 10:14 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [COMPUTERS] Windows 7 I just bought a new computer with win7 operation system.
