I run a Linksys Wireless - G 2.4 GHz 802.11 G Broadband router. I have an older second computer, OS win XP. It is not wireless capable. It is currently is internet accessible Via hard wire Ethernet Connection to the afore mentioned Router. Question: Can the older computer be made to access the internet with an external P&P wireless adapters ? any comments such as which is best brand, Does it have to be a Linksys? Ect. all help as always is greatly appreciated, Jack
Hi Jack, Yes you can use an adapter. I set up one of my older computers (with XP) for my nephew. I do know I used both Linksys router & adapter. It was a couple of years ago but I do recall it wasn't too hard to do.
