You have pointed this user to a site that is very suspect. http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/softwareindustryreport.com Site design is a mess, review pages not listed on the "home" page "home page" reviews that fail to lead to the site being "reviewed" LOL and the English is poor... " In my experience, it is almost always the user who causes their system to have problems when using "registry cleaners". I believe that the concept is a solid one, but, YES, the user cannot indiscriminately delete files or registry entries without knowing what they are used. Registry cleaning and optimizing has a place in the IT Toolbox, but MUST be used carefully. So, with all due respect... I do not concur with your opinion of Registry cleaners. Regards...
