    3. This AM a balloon popped up stating that I do not have Automatic Update enabled. On my task bar there is now a little shield Windows Security Alerts. Do most on this list have Automatic Update enabled and have any had bad experiences due to it? bob gillis

    3. I think you have picked up a virus. Google "Windows Security Alerts" and you'll see. From the replies received on both lists I turned on Automatic Updates to notify me but not download or install. The icon has disappeared from my Task Bar. bob gillis
