    3. You are correct... Firefox 3.5 has different TABS options than Firefox 3.0... This is the way I have my settings under Options >> Tabs... just a suggestion for you... CHECK the following options... Open new windows in a new tab instead Warn me when closing multiple tabs Warn me when opening multiple tabs might slow down Firefox UNCHECK the following options... Always show the tab bar When I open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately Regards, Kevin. 3. I've enjoyed IE8 so far. I have no problems with ancestry images. Any page I 'did' have problems with were solved by choosing the tool tab, and selecting "compatability view". I really didn't like IE7, 8 seems faster to me for browsing and I'm on dialup.(yeah us dinosaurs are still out here. LOL) Sharon

    3. My PC is back from a re-build and I did not even notice it has IE8 on board!! It works fine with everything for me even the Ancestry's Enhanced Image add on is working fine. I like the "Delete" section which now allows you to preserve your regular data, and then deleting the rest. 3. Hi Kevin, Thank you for the help and the links. I've decided to go with the `if it's not broken, dont fix it' approach and have downloaded the IE8 blocker, which now that I've rebooted, does seem to be working. According to the Microsoft site I can manually download IE8 at any time if I decide I want to use it, so that seems the best of both worlds. For now IE7 works fine and I also have Firefox installed although I dont use it much. 3. I am just now trying Irfanview and don't know much about it yet. When you say Picasa "organizes" all images on your computer and then you select the ones you want and email them to yourself. Picasa Automaatically resizes them for you as they are sent does this mean if I download Picasa every picture I have will be "organized" by that program or do I have a choice in when each picture is put in the picasa program, Sounds dumb I know but I have downloaded things before and then couldn't find things I was searching for everything till I finally uninstalled the program. A better way that I have found is to install Google's Picasa which organizes all images on your computer, and then just select the ones you want and email them to yourself. Picasa automatically resizes them for you as they are being sent. Then all you have to do is ftp or upload the email version to your website. 3. Avira has a community support board. You should browse the board and post your issue if you don't see it there. http://www.free-av.com/en/community/index.html You could try uninstalling Malwarebytes to see if the problem goes away. For that matter, you could uninstall Avira and try a different virus program. I use Avast and have had no problems.
