    1. [COMPUTERS] Lost folders
    2. I opened Outlook Express on our old computer intending to look at various folders I had created there and to move them to our newer computer. To my horror almost all of them have disappeared from the list of folders. I've looked in the recycle bin and they don't seem to have gone there. I've no idea how this can have happened and I would be so grateful if anyone could tell me how to find them. Many thanks, Maureen

If you are using a 'user' account and NOT an Administrator account, you can only see folders for the user account you're in. You need to be in an Admin account to see all folders, and then you can move the files in those folders to places where they can be used.

    3. Send it to someone with Excel 2007 + to open and have them save it as 2000 compatible, and send it back to you in that format. Might try importing it into Office Access database - not sure if that would work or not. 3. Hi Janet, My first, personally owned system, was a 386DX 33Mhz, a little faster than the one you mentioned. I purchased this system around 1989. The system was top of the line in 1989, but will be almost unusable with today's software. That said, I still have a laptop from the late 1990's which runs Windows 98. I boot it up every once in a while and it boots up very fast ! What would you like to know? Regards, Kevin. I think they are trying to force us to use the new search, but I hate it. What you have to do Joe is sign in and then click on search - after search comes up look up to your right and you will see (barely) the words Old Search just click on that and it will take you back to the good old familiar Old Search.
