My Windows XP Computer will not boot. I can get the windows startup screen, but it continues forever. Have tried using F8 to get to startup options, but keyboard tabs don't work, so I can't move up or down with arrow key. Any suggestions appreciated.

Like ALL such programs, at best it will do some of what it says but NOT speed up your system at all, and at worst it can mess up your system badly. C-Net editors give it 5 stars, but C-Net USERS give it 2.5 stars.

Hi, I have about 25 rolls of 8mm film (regular and super 8) made beginning in 1950s that I want to transfer to a DVD. Films have some black spots, some dim pictures, but some are good. What is the best and most economical way to accomplish this? Also is there any way to restore the quality of the film? Thanks for the great Jacquie Lawson card. I love any of their cards if they have Chudleigh on them. I may not have spelled the names right, but you get the idea. Happy holidays to all here! December 20th is the official Firefox 9 final release date. The browser has been uploaded to Mozilla’s ftp server prior to release. It is currently distributed to Mozilla’s first and third party distribution network to ensure a fast and uninterrupted distribution to Firefox 8 users. The biggest new feature that Mozilla introduces in Firefox 9 is Type Inference which improves JavaScript performance significantly by using inferred type information. Mozilla noted that the new feature can speed up the browser’s JavaScript performance by up to 30%. Users will usually see less than that percentage though in their day activities. The developers furthermore have added support for font-stretch, improved support for text-overflow and improved overall standards support for HTML5, MathML and CSS. Mac OS X Lion users benefit from the new two finger swipe navigation and improved theme integration. The release notes list several stability enhancements and bug fixes that have made their way into the browser (check the complete list of changes for details, linked on the release notes page). Most Firefox users can probably wait the day until the browser is officially released by Mozilla. Users can then update Firefox with the browsers automatic update feature, or by downloading the new version from the official website. Firefox users who experience issues with the current stable version, for instance crashes, may want to install the new version as soon as possible to resolve the issues. I have had good luck with Walgreens. They transferred some slides to DVD for a reasonable price. Walmart and other drug stores with photo departments in your area might do it also. Walgreens took about 4 weeks to do it. Helen On Sun, Dec 18, 2011 at 5:32 PM, Myra Herron <[email protected]>wrote: > I'd also be interested in the answer. What is the best and most economical way to accomplish this? Also is there any way to restore the quality of the film? Thanks, Sara Hi Sara, We had all of our old cine films put on DVD by: Michael 01708 735810 _www.slides2disk.co.uk_ (http://www.slides2disk.co.uk) He advertises in Cockney Ancestor and the results were brilliant. Our films were from 1965 - 1970. Cheers, Helen.
I'd also be interested in the answer. I also have some home films that I'd love to have put on DVD's also. I don't know if you can 'fix' deteriorating films, but making a copy while you can still run them is very important. They probably still will have to be run on a projector of some kind to make copies. MYRA HERRON Honk if you love Jesus. Text while driving if you want to meet him. I just wondered as all to often I find problems caused by Norton Not sure its relevant but why can you not download Comodo? Hi Barbara My experience of the "fix all" type software has been 100% bad Have you gone through the software downloaded and removed those you do not need Then run your spyware I run Ccleaner every day at the end of a session, and if I encounter a problem with a web site loading As a matter of interest what do you use for firewall & anti-virus ? Thanks, Bud and Nivard. I kind of thought it sounded too good to be true. I will forgo the download. Nivard--you asked-- "As a matter of interest what do you use for firewall & anti-virus ?" I have Avira anti-virus, which does catch something once in a great while. I also have MalwareBytes anti-malware. I only use the Windows firewall, since I cannot download Comodo, etc. Thanks, again. </HTML>
Does anyone know anything about the above program? It sounds so great on their website and on TV, but my computer is working so poorly I hesitate to download anything else, since I think it is probably something I have downloaded which is causing the problems. I do have Avira anti-virus and Malwarebytes, which I run regularly, and they come up clean. I also run CCleaner sometimes. Thanks.</HTML>
