    3. Hi can anyone explain why outlook has decided not to allow links to operate. I get a message <this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer, please contact your system administrator> I am the administrator, I contacted myself and I know of no such restriction, Any Ideas? It also deletes more than one mail at a time. Oh and BTW Frame rates on MS X vary from day to day Could it be that Vista is having a laugh at my expense John P Laws. 3. Hi there, here are a range of 'solutions' that I found by googling the problem. For troubleshooting purposes, Perform the following: 1. Open the printer and remove all ink tanks. 2. Insert a single ink tank in the printer then close the cover. 3. Confirm whether the printer recognizes the installed tank properly. If it does, it will indicate it does not detect the other ink tanks, as they are not currently installed in the printer. 4. Repeat steps 1-3 with another ink tank. 5. If the printer at any time indicates two of the same ink tanks are installed, the cause will be the last tank installed. For example, if you inserted an ink tank earlier, and you later inserted another ink tank, and it said two of the same inks were installed, the cause of the issue is the last ink tank. Alternatively sometimes when you change your ink it doesnt register.hold down the stop/reset button and it will bypass that The solution above is a good temporary solution, but the error message kept appearing for me. I finally ran out of ink and replaced the cartridges. No more error messages! After doing some research, I discovered Canon had apparently released a "bad batch" of these ink cartridges which causes the error message. It has something to do with the chip on the front of the cartridges. Something I dredged up from my childhood - using an eraser to rub off whatever has built up on those metallic sensors. Used to have to do that on the electric racecars that kept getting slower and slower... Had the same error after replacing my black ink om my MP830.(UO71) I Put some Methylated Spirits on a cotton tip and gently cleaned the cartridge chip (allow it to air dry). This fixed my problem! I had this problem on my MP600 and tried tweaking and cleaning the contacts, cleaning the print heads, etc. Finally realized that when I inserted the cartridge gently the red light didn't come on but when I inserted with pressure, the red light came on but when I removed my hand, the light went out. I put 5 layers of scotch tape on the back end of the cartridge to push it forward slightly......Yay, it works now. ----- Original Message ----- From: "PastTracker" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, February 28, 2012 8:29 PM Subject: [COMPUTERS] Canon Pixma MP560 >I ran out of two color inks. 3. Indeed Robert but that assumes you are leaving the computer on whilst you go to work for a day or sleep during the night What is required is some form of DVD player software that will give the option to start at the place where you left off or from the start Some do it, some do not , windows media player is the latter sadly I use an old copy of PowerDVD 5 but can't locate a copy anywhere, the later versions are all demo versions and appear to be time limited before you have to pay for them Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) > > The Pause button can be used to stop the DVD.

Hi all My daughter has Windows 7 which uses media player for CD & DVD playback One problem she has is that if you stop a DVD part way through (as she works odd hours) and then tries to start to watch again later it starts at the beginning of the DVD Does anyone know of a setting in media player that will start at the point it was when closed (as many other DVD players do) Or a free DVD player software that has that facility that is compatible with Win 7 Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK)

    1. [COMPUTERS] APPLE APPLICATION SUPPORT, HOW TO DOWNLOAD! HELP!
    2. Myra Herron
    3. I have stupidly 'cleaned' up my computer, and in doing so, deleted a copy of Apple Application Support and one other Apple download whose name I didn't remember.  It was probably needed in conjunction with the other one to function.  I use these on my Windows XP computer to watch Quicktime movies, which my Nikon Coolpix L11 camera takes.    I cannot for the life of me figure out where to go or how to download the Apple Application Support or how to figure out what other file had to be downloaded now.  I try and try, and although I click on download, nothing seems to happen.  OR, maybe I have it downloaded, but it doesn't work alone.   I downloaded Quicktime Player, thinking that it would allow me to play the Quicktime movies I had taken last night.  That doesn't seem to function.  When I try to play the movie, I get a message to download Apple Application Support.  Infinite loop kind of thing.   Can anyone help me figure out how to download what I need to play these movies?  I promise, I will never clean out files again!    Myra Herron
