I was wondering if any of you could tell me who the paretns were of a James (Jim ) Compton b. 9/24/1875 & d. 4/3/1919 apparently in McDowell Co, WV that married Rhoda Keen. He and most of his family are buried in the Vance Cemetery in Paynesville, McDowell Co, WV. He had the following children: Miles L. Compton b. 1/1/1916 d. 12/2/1983 (m) Bessie ??? Jessie J. Compton b. 1898 d. 1977 (m) Sarah Margaret Horn Gilmore Compton (no dates) Dewey Compton (no dates) Billy Compton (no dates) Alice Compton (no dates) Bessy Compton died of TB no data.
