I think I've found another variation in the spelling of the Compton/Cumpton/Crumpton/Crompton name. The Rogers Arkansas Morning News, dated Sunday 8/15/99 listed the marriage announcement of Scott Compston of Rogers, AR. The announcement interested me because I'd never seen that spelling before and I'm one who had two of the variations in the same family.
