Thank you everyone who responded to my message about obtaining the Comptonology Papers. I now have my answer. Compton I am looking for is Albert Harvey Compton. Died 1897 in Scranton PA. I have no mother or father but someone suggested a Sarah Compton that may have been Sarah House on the 1860 census. She had a 6 yr old son Albert but no husband listed.
