I am looking for the parents of ALMERION COMPTON. He was born in Illinois in abt 1820-30. He was married to Jane (Culver) Compton. He was supposed to have been killed in Chillicoth, Missouri. It seems that he was killed by lightening while walking down the street carrying a ax over his shoulder. His children were: Anna Elizabeth Ward, Romeo, Will, Addie Ward, Ellen Connelly.
