I have two basic issues I am researching. First is the genealogy of William Fuller Compton, my great-great grandfather, who died in 1904. Of particular interest is proving who his parents were. Second is the identity of William Compton, father of Richard, purportedly either from New York (Willieum) or the one born in England, son of John of Kent County. Any direct (non-hearsay) proof would be appreciated.
