The site includes a searchable register report of all of the known descendants of Allen Compton. On the GENDEX this past week I located a Nathan Compton, b. 1800 SC, d. 1855 Henry Co, IN. Among his 11children was an Allen Compton. Although the author didn't have additional detail, I found it interesting that the Nathan Compton had a son named Allen Compton and my wife has an ancestor named Allen Compton who has a son named Nathan A. Compton. I have not had an opportunity to check out the connection further, but would certainly appreciate any help with a connection between the Henry Co, IN Compton family and my wife's family.
