Hello! I am searching for parents of Charlie Benjamin COMPTON who married Fannie CHAFFIN some time after 1905. I know that Fannie was born in Halifax, but I'm not sure about Charlie. Family stories say that they went to North Carolina to get married, but they lived near Scottsburg, VA in Halifax County. Does anybody have any clues? Thanks, Angela
