I am looking for information on the parents of William Jennings Compton, married Lugenia Grant, lived in and around Spartanburg and/or Greenville County, S.C. in the late 1800s through the early part of this century. William and Lugenia had at least six chilkdren, one of whom was my grandfather Ligon Grant Compton. Thanks David Compton
