Hi. I'm looking for info on my ggrandfather, Fredrick Eugene Compton. His parents were William (F?) and Jennie Compton. He was born Aug. 1, 1876 in Harbor Springs, Michigan. His family moved to Crossville, Tennesse while he was young. His mother had a sister, a Mrs. Benedict who also lived in Crossville. By the time of Fred's death in Feb 1910. Apparently his father was already dead, and Jennie lived in Herrin, Illinois. Fred has two brothers that I know of Will and Benedict. Any one with any information on this family, please contact me.
