Regarding your reference to Micajah COMPTON, there is a Micajah named in a 1786 Amelia Co,VA Land Document transferring title to property left to heirs of John COMPTON who left Will dated 3 Dec 1783 named wife Elizabeth COMPTON, son Caleb COMPTON and son-in-law John WHITE (h/o John & Elizabeth's dau Elizabeth) as executors. John's 10 children not named in Will but named in subsequent documents in the transfer of John's land to his children: Caleb; Elizabeth (md John White); Meredith (md Sarah Board); Joshua; Micajah; Archibald (md Sarah Cavender---this is my line); Reuben; Joel (md Nancy Chapman); Jeremiah (md Elizabeth Cavender, sister of Sarah Cavender); Jane (md Richard White, assume he is brother of John White).
