I am looking for my GG-Grandfather, ALMERION COMPTON. He was supposed to have been born in Illinois. He was married to Jane Culver. About all that I know about him was he was killed during an electric storm on his way home from work in Missouri. There is talk that he was killed in Chillicothe, Missouri but I can not prove that. He and Jane had the following children Romio, Will, Ellen, Addie and Eliza who was my G-Grandmother. I am guessing that Almerion was born around 1820/30s. His wife was a school teacher and she continued teaching after his death. We do know that the girls all married and moved to the Spokane, Washington area in about 1890. Any help will greatly be appreciated as I have run into a brick wall. Thank you Mary Jean Gray
