I am one step closer to tracing my Compton line. I had the opportunity to meet and learn from a cousin who also had the same GGGrandfather that I do. He has information that says my Jeremiah Douglas Compton, (Kirksville MO) who married Alzada Sophia Clem was born in Scott Co Illinois to Levi Compton and Mary Tuggle.
