Given names can be clues of family connections. However, Henry's family and William's family have few names in common. Henry's children are: Rebecca Charity (named after her grandmothers) James W. Elizabeth W. Mary Jane Elvira Searcy Phillip Newel (after Philip Compton in 1788 KY tax list?) Thomas Ann William Henry Henrietta Sarah J. (named after her mother) William's children are: Elizabeth Briscoe (who is she named after?) William Scott (named after his mother's father) Mary Ann Shelby Felix Thomas D. M. Henry W. Susan Louisa (named partially after her mother?) There is no Charity in William's family and no Leiper in either family.
