Hello, I am new to this list My father was born in Steamboat Springs 1896....His father Frank Henry Cook and his Uncle Willard Cook owned a large cattle ranch in that area. Arthur P. Wright who married his aunt Margaret Susan Cook, had all come from Wisconsin about 1888.....My grandmother was Jessie Thayer and her family had come to that area sometime between 1885 and 1888.... William F. Thayer and his brother Leo Thayer came to Routt county from Clear Creek Co and before 1880 from Michigan... William and Leo were veterans of the Civil War....
