I'm looking for descendants of the Henry Clay Monson family, who were among the first settlers of Routt County. William Kernaghan married into this family. William practices medicine in Steamboat springs for at least 10 years, and married (Agnes) Blanche Monson, daughter of Henry Clay Monson. Blanche's brother, Ray (Claude Raymond Monson) was a District Attorney in Routt County and brother "Doc" (Hugh Ellis Monson) died in Denver but was buried in Steamboat springs. I have undated newspaper articles on these families. The families lived in Routt county from the mid 1880s until well after the turn of the century and maybe into the 1920s. A search of the internet whitepages.com does not show in Monson's living in Routt county at the present time.
