Hello, My grandmother was born in a small cabin in Ophir, CO, (San Miguel Co.) in 1903. We know "Lizard Head Peak" was in view of the cabin. I understand Ophir became a derelict (ghost?) town/village, but a distant cousin actually found the cabin still standing in the early 70's. Unfortunately, the cousin isn't reachable, and my dad is making a trip out there soon (from FL) and hopes to find the cabin.
