I have found my family (Joseph T. WINTER) on the 1900 census of Mesa County, CO in precinct 15, Snipes. I have looked on my atlas, mapquest, and the 1895 atlas online and cannot find this town anywhere. Does anyone on this list know where Snipes is located? (Snipes, CO is also listed as the residence of Grace Winter on her marriage license in Marshall Co, KS) Thanks, Cathy in Oregon
