Hello Patti, I'm not in Colorado but Cedar Cemetery is (from what I understand) a county owned and maintained Cemetery. You might want to call the Montrose County Clerk at (970) 249-3362 and ask about a burial permit. I have requested several (waiting) so I can't yet tell you what is on them but it's a starting point to find more info on your ancestor. I hope this helps you. Happy Hunting Janet

Dolores was a small county so I went ahead and made the Gen Connect changes to Dolores also tonight. I hope to get San Miguel county done before the end of the week. I hope this new change will make it easier for us all. Good Hunting!

There have been changes made to the Montrose county website. We are now using the GenConnect boards. I have moved all of the old queries. This is the first of the counties to be done. Hi, this is a long shot, but I'll ask anyway. Does anybody on the list have a cemetery book that contains Cedar Cemetery, Montrose listings, that is willing to do a look-up? What I'm looking for, is, Sarah Ann Case (my ggmother). I have her obit from the Montrose Daily Press, problem is...there are no dates! I know she died in Montrose, she may have been living with her son, Harry M.Bulick (my Grandfather), it would have been sometime between 1921 and 1944, I know that's quite a stretch, but it's the best guesstimate I have! Hi Everyone, Well I made it back from Las Vegas in one peice I think (haven't really check) LOL.. I was hoping to be up and running by last Monday or Tuesday but as things go that didn't happen. Came home Sunday and had to cut hay Monday now it's raining on us with thunder and lighting so I'm trying to get the obits posted between storms.
