I'm very glad that we were finally able to get this list started. I hope that it will be a help to everyone. As the CC for three of these counties, I am looking for people that can be contacted in the various counties that might be able to help in research. I can then add their names and addresses to the county web sites. This does not mean that they will do the research for free! It's just great to have someone that is in the area and may know a little bit about where to go to get what you need for the research to progress. In Montrose, I have found the Genealogical society to be a real help and I do have that address on the web site. If you know of anyone in any of the four counties on this list that has been a help to you, please pass on the information. Thanks!
