(SIMMONS) PETTIT was a sister to my GrGr Grandmother, Rachel Jane (SIMMONS)McGRATH. Any descendants of this family? William PETTIT, b. 1846 Ruth PETTIT b. 1852 children: Sarah b. 1870 Harvey b. 1873 Phebe b. 1875 Anna b. 1879 Sylvester b. 1882 William b. 1886 Clara b. 1890 married Delroy Scull, Dawson Co, NE They lived in Rockland Twp, Logan Co., CO in 1920. Had lived in Custer Co., NE before that. Some of the children were born in Kansas, some in Texas, some in Illinois. If I can confirm Ruth & Rachel are sisters, I have much information on the SIMMONS line they belong to! Would appreciate it if anyone could lookup the obit for Ruth, died DEC 3, 1932 there in Sterling. Buried in Riverside Cemetery. Thanks!!
