According to the newspaper he was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. As of now we have not been able to locate his grave site in Sterling. We also are curious as to what happened to the land he owned. That information about the location of the land is on the Bureau of Land Management site. I did check the train investigation site link that has been shared and did not find any information. Thanks for your help.
