I did finally pull out the Riverside Cemetery site listed on the City of Sterling (City Services). I had to wait till very late at night to get it. Now my next project. Is there anyone who lives near Riverside Cemetery who would be willing to take photos of tombstones for me? I will reinburse total expenses. What is the policy in Colorado for obtaining funeral records? I checked the RAOGK for Logan County, CO but did not find a volunteer. (I am a volunteer for Pott. County, OK) Elmer E. Patten b 10/22/1883 & d. 6/30/1980 in Austin, TX, Travis County - Nellie Wilhemina Barton/Patten b. 4/4/1886 & d. 4/5/1970 in Sterling, CO.... both buried in Riverside Cemetery/Sterling, CO. Elmer & Nellie had one child: Wayne Patten. Does anyone in Sterling know him? He also lived in Sterling (at least he was there when his parents were alive) Sure would like to find him. We are having a family reunion in July and would to let him in on the plans.
