I am trying to get in contact with anyone who is related to or knows of family members of Jacob Sinner. Jacob Sinner was born in Konstantinovka, Russia in 1874 to Heinrich and Anna Sinner. Jacob came to America in 1907 and settled in Sterling, Colorado. He was married to Olinda Englemann who died in during childbirth in 1918 in Sterling. Jacob then married my great grandmother Eva Katherine Hoffner in Eaton, Colorado in 1919 at the German Congregational Church. They were subsequently divorced that same year and my grandfather David Dwayne Sinner was born in November 1919 in Pierce, Colorado. My great grandmother's last name and my grandfather David's last name show up on the 1920 Weld County census as Sinner. Eva eventually changed my grandfather's last name to Hoffner after Eva's first husband, who she was married to in Oberdorf, Russia. Jacob Sinner went back to Sterling and married an Eva Herzog in 1920 and had a child in 1921. Jacob died in Sterling in 1953. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
