He was killed in a railroad accident. We found his name listed on the Bureau of Land Management. He had 120 acres in Sterling, dated 1914. Ivan was born in Michigan, the son of George W. DeHaven and Sadie Lent DeHaven. Perhaps there might be some legal information in court papers about this land as Ivan was not married. Also, is there a way to research which trains went into Sterling in 1911. Thank you. Marcia DeHaven
