Busig was not known by any of our family members as "Karl"): "The info on the Busig family came from the records of Peace Lutheran Church, rural Plymouth, Jefferson County, Nebraska. At the time that Charles and Victoria attended this church, the records were entered in German, hence the Karl instead of Charles. Evidently, the Busigs came to the area married, and had two children baptized at Peace Lutheran. Interestingly, I noted in your notes that they lived at Swanton. I lived there for ten years, up until two years ago. The town is much smaller now than it was when they were living near there (less than 100 people). Did you notice that I also have listed two Busig females that I assumed were Charles' sisters? They married Grummert brothers. Another Grummert brother married into my family. I too would like to know if Charlotte and Lina Grummert are sisters of Charles Busig. I'll check the Plymouth NE history book, since both families stayed around there. You might also look at this Ernest Busig. It is also in the Plymouth NE vicinit! y."
