One on the corner of the courthouse square at Main and Third streets and another one a block east on Main and Second. I believe a Mr. Magee owned the courthouse stand and when he retired he sold it to Clarence. I'm not sure of the Magee name. Can anyone help me refine my memory? Mary and sister may be married to brothers, Henry and Johann Rieb. At this point. Most came from Russia to New York, to Chicago then to Kansas. Our bunch then to Colorado. Henry and Johann have a sister Anna Stoppel who stayed in Kansas and raised family there. According to the newspaper he was buried in Riverside Cemetery in Sterling. As of now we have not been able to locate his grave site in Sterling. We also are curious as to what happened to the land he owned. That information about the location of the land is on the Bureau of Land Management site. I did check the train investigation site link that has been shared and did not find any information. Thanks for your help.
