    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/ZY.2ADI/322 Message Board Post: Hi, that is the right John Westley. I know John and Nancy had around nine kids , and the James that was his son . was one that they took to Ind. to live with his aunt and uncle .All I know is that my great grandfather's name was James and he was married to Dora Belle Caylor , and they must have lived in Monroe Co .Iowa,My grandmother 's name was Grace Ann and she had a sister Mable , The only time that I have traced Dora Belle is I think in the 1895 census in Lucas Co. and it listed that Dora Belle was a widow and the two girls lived in Chariton, Iowa . I don't know where James died or where he is buried . I think that he must have been a lot older that Dora. It is listed in some of the information that James was born in 1948 in Ky. I know that John son of John and Nancy moved to lowell , Ar. from there they moved to Washington state. I have the death dates of John and Elizabeth and a few others. Hope some of this means something to you . Audrey

Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/ZY.2ADI/81.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: It would appear that there are several John Wesley's in the same Matherly family. The info I have tells of John Wesley being in the 3rd regiment Co. E Missouri Cavalry for the Union Army and he died at Jacksonport Arkansas. Don't know much about his children, but it is entirely possible that they were raised by an aunt. How far back have you been able to get with your Matherly line? I would be very interested in comparing notes. Look forward to hearing form you. You can e-mail me direct if you wish Dianne
