Marie the 1810 census of Brunswick County, Virginia only had one Collins family listed, that of Littleberry Collins. In his household there were 2 males under 10 years of age, 2 males 16 to 26 years of age, and 1 male over 45 years. There were also 2 females under ten years of age (where your Elizabeth would be counted), 1 female 10 to 16 years old, And 1 female between 26 and 45 years old. This looks like a young family with four children and an older male living With them. My gr grandfather, Hamlin R. COLLINS, was born in Brunswick Co VA (I think) in abt 1805. He is listed in the 1840 NC Halifax Co with one family. He married again in 1856 and is listed in the 1860, 1870, & 1880 NC Halifax Co Census with his family. He married Rebecca POWERS in 1856. He is almost 30 yrs older than Rebecca.
