Hi there, happy new year to everyone. I can't help anyone with their brick walls yet, but here's mine: Ellen Collins, Irish, a convict who's listed crime was "stealing a flannel". She was sent to Australia on the Hooghley arrived 1832, was married that same year to a henry Wyatt, to whom she was also assigned, as was the way of things back then. She was in her mid 20s when she arrived, and she is my great-great- great-grandmother, and must have had a family back in Ireland who may never have heard from her again. She is buried out in the Mudgee district of NSW. Her daughter Sarah Wyatt (born 1844) married George William Johnston in the Mudgee District of NSW on June 26, 1865. Any info would be much appreciated, and any knowledge of anyone researching the Collins family in Ireland would be a big crack in the wall, as I haven;t even found any other researchers yet of that family name in Ireland. Cheers, and happy digging to all, Willow Aliento Mummulgum, Australia
