Hi List Still searching for Amos Collins b: abt 1786-1790. According to all census records he was born in VA. His wife, according to census records was Mariel/Mavel/Mayvilla. He appears in Clay Co. KY in 1828 where he patents land. He is listed on the 1830 Clay Co. KY Census. It would appear that before coming to KY he was in TN. His children are: Calvin b: abt 1810 TN John Gilbert b: Aug 06, 1812 TN Freeling b: March 16, 1816 TN Jestine b: abt 1820 TN Nancy b: abt 1824 TN Elizabeth b: abt 1825-27 TN Robert b: abt 1828-1830 Clay Co. KY Benjamin b: abt 1833 Clay Co. KY Margaret b: abt 1835 Clay Co. KY Aaron Collins may also be a son of Amos. Aaron was b: abt 1823 married Sylvania Fields. There is also an Eliza Collins b: abt 1826 who fits somewhere in this line of Collins. Eliza married Jesse Scalf. I have more information on these children and would be happy to share.
