I am interested in more information on Joseph Collins of Ohio. I have the following information on him: Name: Joseph Collins Wife: Phobe Cline Children: John James Susanna Ellen Daniel The 1850 Federal Census shows Joseph Collins at age 35 living in Lake Township, Logan County, Ohio. The other members of the household were Phebe, age 34, John, age 7, James, age 5, Susan, age 3, and Rachel, age 4 months. Joseph's occupation is listed as laborer. Joseph is shown as born in Pennsylvania while Rachel is shown as born in Virginia. All of the children were listed as born in Ohio. According to Memoirs of the Miami Valley (1920, p. 117), Joseph divided his time between clearing his land in Logan County of heavy timber and the trade of carpenter. In 1854, he moved from Logan County to Paulding County where he resided for a year. A year later, he moved to Allen County where he died. His widow and children returned to Logan County, and Phoebe died in Logan County. I am interested in the burial location of Joseph and any additional information on the family.
