I've "rescued" an old photograph of W. B. LACY which was taken at the W. S. Gardner Studio in Corvallis, Oregon. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1890's with the young man in the photograph likely in his 20's at the time it was taken. In addition to his name, someone appears to have written the initials "JEA" on the back of the photograph as well. Based on limited research I was able to locate the following information regarding the young man in the photograph: William B. LACY was b. Apr 1872 in OR and first married Laura E. COLLINS (b. Aug 1872 in OR) in about 1899 in OR. LACY, son-in-law, age 28, born Apr 1872, married 1 year, born OR, parents born IL/OH, a Dry Goods Salesman Laura LACY, dau, age 27, born Aug 1872, married 1 year, no children, born OR 1920 census of Portland, OR: William B. LACY, age 47, born OR, parents born IA/OH, City of Portland Sewer Dept. employee Mattie L. LACY, wife, age 37, born OH, parents born OH/IN Doris J. LACY, dau, age 3 years + 6 months, born OR Marie E. LACY, dau, age 1 month, born OR David REX, father-in-law, age 76, born OH, parents born PA Mary Jane REX, mother-in-law, age 70, born IN, parents born VA I am hoping to be able to return the photograph to a member of this LACY Family.
