Curry Jr., 79, died Sunday, July 9, 2006. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories, 6969 E. Interstate 40 in Amarillo, with Eddie Stegall, minister of Clarendon Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Curry was born July 22, 1926, in St. Augustine, Fla., to Rufus Horace and Virginia _*Collins *_Curry. Mr. Curry retired from a lifelong career as a superintendent in commercial construction. He enjoyed working with his hands, gardening and fishing. Mr. Curry was famous for his secret homemade ice cream recipe. He faithfully attended church and loved the Lord. He was preceded in death by a son, Warren Lee Curry; a daughter; Roxanne Lincycomb; and two grandsons. Survivors include three sons, William Larry Curry, Rufus Horace Curry III and Joe Charles Eudey; four daughters, Nancy Karen Cook, Corinne Lee Stoffle, Vin Ann Keel and Velvet Lin Tauras; 19 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
