Looking for information on Martha J. COLLINS b. 6/1830 in Georgia. According to census, her parents born in SC. 1849 she married Starkey Lewis in NC. Some children born in TN. Some of the Lewis children went on to MO. Could she have been the daughter of Baptist preacher Stephen L. (or D.) Collins, b. in SC., and already been married and out of the home on the 1850 Cumberland Co., NC census. Would appreciate hearing from anyone with any information on these two Collins. Joyce- So. Cal.
