Hello, Collins Cuzens: For those of you who haven't already checked out this site, the actual documents for COLLINS, and other surnames, can be viewed at The Bureau of Land Management: http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ Just enter your own zip code (explains this is for area counting purpose) & click on the state you wish to check out. Unfortunately, they only cover 11 states & PA & MD are not there. The COLLINS listings are limited to 200 "due to an administrative limit", whatever that means in a govt. office - so the COLLINS entries end at a John COLLINS - but I think if you plug in a first name'down further in the alphabet of first names', you may get your entry to pop up. One other good site I found is: Geographic Namesaver at - http://www.mit.edu:8001/geo self-explanatory, really, but just plug in the town and state - data pops up - or just the town and you get a whole bunch of same town name in different states.
