I have AOL and it has an address book containing the e-mail address's pf all your friends. So when or if you accidentally get an e-mail containing a virus from someone on your mailing list (they don't know that they have gotten it either from someone else) and you send an e-mail to another one in your address book, the virus is sent to everyone. By using this code !000, at the top of your list,it blocks the virus. It doesn't mean you don't get it, it just means you don't pass it on. I don't know how it works, but it has worked for me. This info comes from my computer user group of which I have been Secretary for 12 years. These links that we have been getting with (no subject) are not affected by this, though.
