    1. COLLINS, Brice, in NC
    2. Does anyone have the ancestors and/or history of this gentleman? He's one of two in the records around 1800. The other one is mine, but with such an unusual name I'm really curious if they're related. My Brice COLLINS is the son of John and Catharine COLLINS in Cumberland/Mifflin (and the area that's now Juniata) County , Pennsylvania. Would love to know more about the southern Brice COLLINS. Thank you. Lorraine [email protected]

    3. Hi, Here is an excerpt from a book that I have found to be completely wrong (the info has also been posted on the internet). If you stumble across this info, please ignore it. Correct info is below the excerpt. Wrong --***In the book, *Descendants of Price COLLINGS and Rebecca (----)* rescearched by Marjorie J. Fletcher, for her cousin of Cheryl Collins: Price COLLIINGS maybe the son of Samuel COLLINS and Margaret (Hudson)(Hodson) COLLINS; Price and Rebecca's son Brice (Price) COLLINS (Sr), b. 1712, Somerset MD, d. 1791 in Orange, NC, m. 12 Aug 1747 Wilmington New Castle DE Elizabeth (BRADLEY) COLLINS, b. 9 Dec 1721 in Wilmington New Castle DE, d. 1800 in Orange Co NC, dau. Henry BRADLEY and Catherine(LEWIS) BRADLEY.*** --Wrong The elder Price Collins was the son of Thomas Collins and Ann Price of Northampton County, VA. After migrating to Somerset County, MD he and his son Price remained there. The son did not change his name to Brice, move to Wilmington DE, and then die to NC. Brice Collins from NC could possibly be the one that came from Wilmington, Delaware. I have no idea. He just is definitely not Price Collins from the eastern shore of MD. My primary Collins focus is the eastern shore of MD and VA and I have not researched upper Delaware or NC.
